City Climb is an optional activity for which you have to pay a supplement. Be careful! This attraction isn’t for everyone – it’s the highest building climb in the world. Be prepared to step out of your comfort zone, because here you climb to a staggering height of 1,269 feet.
This activity is perfect for the most adventurous visitors (over 13). Equipped with a harness, you climb the steps along the façade to reach a small platform from which you can lean into the void. It’s a magical experience that will leave you with lasting memories of your stay at this impressive observatory.
Sky Skate, skating over 1,100 feet high
If you go to New York between mid-November and mid-January, you’ll be able to discover the latest attraction at The Edge! Since 10 January 2023, an indoor skating rink has been installed on the observatory platform. Treat yourself to a unique skating experience at an altitude of over 1,100 feet, while enjoying a breathtaking view of the New York skyline.
Gourmet area
At The Edge Observatory in New York, visitors can not only enjoy breathtaking views but also indulge in a delicious culinary experience. Head for the Peak restaurant. Located on the 101st floor, the restaurant offers a gourmet dining experience. Given the limited number of tables available, it is essential to book well in advance.

Open every day from 10 am to 10 pm, Monday to Thursday; from 10 am to 11 pm, Friday to Sunday.
The tour lasts between 1h00 and 1h30. Once you reach the top, you can stay as long as you like.
Tip: plan at least 1 hour to make the most of the observatory. Above all, if you want to enjoy the sunset, it’s imperative to plan to make sure you don’t miss it.
