Arts in the Plaza

This must-see event takes place every Saturday from Memorial Day weekend through Halloween from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kennedy Plaza.
East end volley-ball
Welcomes adults from volleyball leagues to the beach. Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and weekends.
Surfing schools
In a fun and safe environment, Skudin Surf allows surfing enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to enjoy the pleasures of surfing.

A unique and exciting escape game. You only have 60 minutes to escape from a fully themed, locked room. You and your team members must work together to find clues, crack codes and solve puzzles to find your way out before time runs out.

Bike share programme
SoBi Long Beach is a bike share program available to residents and visitors. It is a smart bike rental service that uses GPS to track and register bikes.
Users can rent the bikes via the website, mobile app, at point-of-sale kiosks or directly on the bikes themselves.
What transport to get there?
By bus
Long Beach Bus operates a 24-hour municipal bus service with five routes, including three routes serving the city. The company also operates a trolley bus.
Nassau Inter-County Express (NICE) has two bus routes that depart from Long Beach; the n15 and n33 travel to Roosevelt Field and Far Rockaway via Rockville Centre and Atlantic Beach, respectively. The n33 does not serve all of Long Beach.
By train
From Manhattan, a train from Pennsylvania Station takes 51 minutes to Long Beach. The Long Island Rail Road operates a terminal at Park Place and Park Avenue with service on the Long Beach branch of the railway. All other Long Beach transit services converge at this terminal.
