Test and opinions of The Hoxton Williamsburg
As soon as we entered the hotel, with a view of the reception area (photo below), we were won over by the hotel’s tasteful and elegant decor. The Hoxton has succeeded in creating an atmosphere that is both chic and relaxed, perfectly in tune with the spirit of the Williamsburg district.
The room, although compact at 16 m², is remarkably well designed. Every detail seems to have been thought out to maximise space while preserving a refined aesthetic. The highlight is undoubtedly the breathtaking view of the Manhattan skyline.
The peace and quiet that reigns in the room is much appreciated, with no street noise or air conditioning disturbing the peace and quiet. The soundproofing is excellent, guaranteeing peaceful nights despite the hustle and bustle of the district.
The quality bedding is another plus, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of urban exploration.
The Hoxton takes great care with its decoration and materials, and despite being over five years old, the hotel does not show the signs of wear and tear of some very recent hotels.
