Background to the test
Our stay at the Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square hotel took place in October 2023. We were able to test a room for two adults, staying in room number 2211 for one night.

When we arrived, the hotel’s new, modern look immediately caught our interest. The decor was both chic and contemporary, reflecting a certain urban elegance. One of the highlights of our room was undoubtedly the uninterrupted view it afforded of the bustling Times Square. Fortunately, despite the proximity of this hustle and bustle, the air conditioning was silent, allowing for a serene atmosphere inside.
One anecdote is worth mentioning: when we arrived, we wanted to check the effectiveness of the curtains against the outside light from the giant screens. However, we found that the curtains had been abused by the previous occupants, causing them to move out of place. After calling the maintenance department, the problem was quickly resolved, and we were able to enjoy complete darkness for a peaceful night.

Disadvantages
- Soundproofing not perfect, some corridor noises perceptible.

The Tempo by Hilton New York Times Square offers an upscale experience in one of New York’s most iconic neighborhoods. While there are a few things that could be improved, the overall stay was memorable and we highly recommend this hotel.
