We tested the SpringHill Suites Manhattan Times Square from 15 to 16 November 2024. Our stay took place on the 5th floor, in room 502, a King de Luxe Corner room with a generous surface area of 26 m². The rate was $472 per night, including breakfast.

SpringHill Suites Times Square test & review
As soon as we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the size of our room, which was rather spacious by New York standards. The modern, functional decor creates a welcoming atmosphere. A small desk is provided, perfect for business travellers or those wishing to plan their day.
The comfortable bedding is a real asset, offering a well-deserved rest after a day of roaming the streets of New York. However, the imperfect soundproofing means that you can hear noises coming from the corridor and doors slamming in other rooms, which can be annoying for light sleepers.
Our room, although set back from the main street, unfortunately did not offer an unobstructed view. However, this secluded position offers a significant advantage: the absence of traffic noise. An interesting compromise for travellers who prefer peace and quiet to panoramic views.
The included breakfast is served as an American buffet. Although basic, it offers an assortment of sweet and savoury choices to get the day off to a good start. However, travellers used to more elaborate breakfasts may find it a little limited.
Benefits
- Spacious, well-appointed room
- Comfortable bedding
- Small, practical desk for working
- Breakfast included
- Central location near Times Square
Disadvantages
- Poor soundproofing, noise audible from the corridor
- Limited view due to building opposite
- Basic breakfast
- High price
At $472 per night including breakfast, the SpringHill Suites Manhattan Times Square is on the high end of the New York price scale. Although the central location and generous room size partly justify this price. To optimise your budget, compare with other options in the area and choose a low-season stay if possible.
The SpringHill Suites Manhattan Times Square is an option to consider for travellers looking for spacious and well-located accommodation, provided you are not too sensitive to noise and have a substantial budget.
