Every detail has been carefully considered by the renowned design agency, Yabu Pushelberg. Modern, slightly eccentric charm blends with respectful nods to New York’s history. Three bespoke culinary concepts complete the experience, all orchestrated by the talented Scott Sartiano.
Background to the test
We had the pleasure of staying at Park Lane for two nights in April 2023. Our room was on the 22nd floor, room 2211 with two king-size beds and a view of 58th Street. The Park Lane room is the most spacious of our comparison. The nightly rate was €610.

Park Lane review
The Park Lane has an art deco atmosphere. Admittedly, for some this might seem slightly outdated, but the cachet of this decoration confers a certain standing, especially in terms of space. The bath was a pleasant surprise, being the only one in our stay.
In terms of cleanliness, the hotel is very close to 5-star hotel standards. However, in terms of bedding, although the beds are spacious, comfort could be improved.
Benefits
- Art Deco ambience offering a unique experience.
- Spacious rooms, ideal for those looking for space.
- Close to Central Park, 5th Avenue, Top of the Rock and Rockefeller Center.
- Three tailor-made culinary concepts, a guarantee for gourmets.
Disadvantages
- The air conditioning is a little noisy for its efficiency.
- The bedding, although ample, could be made more comfortable.
The Park Lane is the ideal place for those seeking an authentic experience with a touch of nostalgia, while benefiting from a location close to Central Park.
