If you’re visiting New York this spring 2025, don’t miss the exceptional opportunity to discover “Path of Liberty: That Which Unites US”, a monumental art installation spanning more than 6 acres on Manhattan’s East Side. Officially unveiled on May 8, 2025 at a prestigious ceremony attended by multiple GRAMMY Award winner Lenny Kravitz, this open-air exhibition opens to the public on May 15, 2025.
A strategic location in the heart of Manhattan
The installation runs from 38th to 41st Street along First Avenue, creating an impressive path that’s easily accessible from many parts of the city. This temporary urban transformation offers visitors a fresh perspective on America’s founding ideals as the country approaches its 250th anniversary.
Personal stories turned into public art
“Path of Liberty transforms remarkable personal stories of World War II heroes and influential contemporary voices into a powerful visual exploration of freedom and equality. Through large-scale visuals and an interactive narrative, visitors are invited to reflect on these core values that form the foundation of American democracy.

The Soloviev Foundation, which is behind this ambitious project, has collaborated with several prominent figures to bring this installation to life:

A celebration of youth and diversity
At the inauguration, two New York high school students, Janet C. and Jonathan D., were honored for their powerful essays on freedom in theFuture Generations Essay Contest. Their work, which touches on themes of immigration and American identity, captures the spirit of the installation, celebrating both diversity and unity.
